Dan has been working in the tax appeal and commercial real estate appraisal industries for over 43 years.  He holds a Texas Certified General Appraisal license and a Texas Senior Property Tax Consultant license.  He has completed complex appraisal assignments from Bermuda to Canada, as well as throughout the United States.  He is a licensed attorney with an LLM (Master) in tax law from Wayne State University (2001).  Dan has earned the prestigious MAI accreditation in real estate appraising, of which there are only 8,364 active MAI Members out of a total of 93,665 appraisers in the United States.  Dan and his team are top valuation specialists and are long standing members of The Appraisal Institute.  Unlike other tax appeal firms who hire out legal and appraisal services, the experts on Dan's team are Certified General Real Estate Appraisers as well as licensed Texas Property Tax Consultants.

Dan has owned commercial businesses in Texas and understands very well how the tax structures operate.  He also understands tax appeals from the government and municipalities side.  Dan worked as a senior review appraiser for the Resolution Trust Corporation of the RTC Government Gulf Coast Consolidation Office, which was located in Houston, Texas.  This office provided valuation oversight to forty-seven defunct Savings and Loans for the sale and liquidation of real estate assets.  Dan will bring the knowledge of his team and his proven negotiation strategies to the successful tax appeal of your property.
